My mixed heritage has shaped the way I see and design for the world. With roots in German, Guyanese and Irish cultures, and my first years of school spent in Spain, I grew up surrounded by different perspectives, languages and ways of seeing the world.

 

That early exposure taught me how to adapt, connect and appreciate the richness of diverse experiences. Travel has always been a big part of my life, and I see every new place as a chance to learn. Since I was 16, I’ve worked part-time in office environments, picking up lessons from people far more experienced than me and building the confidence to step into new challenges. Now, as I complete my internship with CCD Studios, I’m continuing to grow and refine my design practice.

 

I believe design is more than just aesthetics, it’s a way to solve real problems, bridge cultures, and make life not only easier, but brighter. The combination of empathy, creativity and storytelling is what excites me most about this field.

 

Things I nerd out about : Organised Figma files, building scalable design systems, motion and interaction design, branding that tells a story, and clean typography, but also: travelling, learning new languages, exploring new food spots, and long walks with the right playlist.
